A jar of sweets by the front door, ready for the knock. This one has TRICK OR TREAT carved into its solid oak lid, so the little ghosts and witches on your doorstep know exactly where to look.
The lid is made in our workshop in Kent and sits on a jar of extremely tough tempered glass. The seal is airtight, so the sweets stay fresh whether they are handed out in one evening or rationed for weeks. Once the costumes are packed away it becomes a good-looking storage jar for the kitchen, and the lid comes back out every autumn.
Our jars stack neatly and the lids are interchangeable, so you can swap them between jars as the seasons change.
