FEED ME... is carved into a solid oak lid, made in our workshop in Kent, as a daily reminder that the starter needs its flour and water. The clear glass lets you watch it bubble and rise, so you can see when it is ready to bake with.
It lives happily on the worktop next to the bread board, and looks good enough to stay there.

The square jars stack neatly and make use of all the space on a shelf. The lids fit both jar sizes, so you can swap them between jars whenever you like.
Supplied empty, ready for your starter.
The lid is best cleaned with a damp cloth and the glass can go in the dishwasher.
